The visitors started the game on the front foot scoring twice in the span of little more than minute in the first half and despite pushing the home side to the very edge with their efforts even in the second half, they couldn’t see themselves rack up a shock. Arsenal - like most matches recently - were poor on the night and while they might argue favouring the upcoming League Cup final on the weekend, going down 2-0 in the first half with a side that included experienced players such as Mohamed Elneny, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Jack Wilshere is unacceptable....

UEFA said its disciplinary panel will rule on crowd disturbances, the throwing of objects and the setting off of fireworks by Hungarian fans in Saturday’s match against Iceland which finished 1-1, reports Xinhua. Police were deployed to stand in front of a section housing Hungarian fans at the Stade Velodrome after they clashed with stewards before the game. Disciplinary proceedings have also been opened against the Belgian FA after fans set off fireworks and threw objects during their 3-0 victory over Ireland in Bordeaux....

Hendricks seemed to have the upper hand over the Canadian champion for most of the five rounds, landing the more significant blows and limiting any damage inflicted. St. Pierre was able to keep it close to extend his winning streak to 12 fights. Two judges scored it 48-47 for St. Pierre, and the third had it 48-47 for Hendricks.
