UCLA safety Stan McKay came pretty close on Friday night. After his Bruins beat Washington, McKay took a knee on the Rose Bowl turf and popped the question to his girlfriend. As McKay was showing her the ring, his teammates, coach Jim Mora and other spectators formed a ring of their own (no, that's not intimidating at all).
A few long seconds after McKay asked, the young lady, whose name was not released, said yes. The crowd went wild.
“It’s pretty awesome. The whole team was out there. It was a pretty special moment,” Mora told reporters (via SB Nation).
