Shabazz Napier’s mother accepted a ring on her son’s behalf, as the point guard was in uniform for the Heat’s game against the Hawks in Atlanta.
Each ring carries an inscription inside the band that reportedly says “ten toes in,” a phrase that coach Kevin Ollie uses to emphasize each player’s commitment to the team.
The Huskies won 66-53 after trailing by nine points early in the second half.
